What is the
ECDL? (European Computer Driving Licence)
ECDL is an IT qualification issued by the British Computer Society
for computer users that is recognised by employers throughout
Europe. ECDL contains 7 modules covering essential IT fundamentals
and the most frequently used computer applications.
Course
Aims and Objectives
1. To prepare delegates to pass this module of the
ECDL qualification by providing them with the necessary skills,
knowledge and techniques.
2. To provide essential IT skills that will boost delegates'
confidence, understanding and performance.
Style of Training
A
structured, hands-on, tutor-led session for each module using practical examples
and exercises. In addition to syllabus material, delegates will
also be given mock tests to practise and valuable tips to help
improve their performance during the test.
What
level is the ECDL?
Introduction to
intermediate level. (Starting with the basics whilst also covering
a number of more in-depth topics).
Who
should attend?
1.
New users who would like a structured learning program and an IT
qualification.
2. Self-taught users who would like an IT qualification and to
fill the gaps in their knowledge.
3. Competent users who would like an IT qualification to show for
their skills.
Prerequisites
No
previous experience is required, however, basic computer skills
and experience working with applications within a Windows
environment would be an advantage.
