| To ensure fair play and
respectful behaviour we have drawn up the following code of good
conduct. Rules of good conduct should be observe red by everyone
associated with the club, including coaches and parents.
Although it's always nice to win, we do not adopt a "win at all
costs" attitude. The attitude we try to encourage the girls to
adopt is "I'm going to do the best I can for myself and the
team". We want all the girls to succeed, but more
importantly, we want them to learn, have fun and enjoy their
game.
Players - Code of Behaviour
- Play by the rules at all
times
- Never argue with an
official. Concentrate on your game. You cannot effect a bad
decision, so don't let it affect you.
- Control your temper. Verbal
abuse towards officials and other players is unacceptable
behaviour. So is deliberately distracting or provoking other
players.
- Work equally hard for
yourself and the team.
- Be a good sport. Applaud all
good play from both your team and the opposition.
- Treat all other players as
you would wish to be treated yourself. Do not bully or take
unfair advantage of another player.
- Co-operate with your coach,
team mates and opponents. Without them, there would be no
match / game.
- Play for your own fun and
not just to please others e.g. Parents & Coaches
- Concentrate on the game your
coach has asked you to play. Express yourself.
Players, coaches, parents and supporters who
do not act in accordance with our Code of Good Conduct, may be asked to
leave. If you have any queries relating to our Code of Good conduct,
please do not hesitate to contact us. |
