How long does it take?

That all depends on your ability when you start. A beginner may take a year to complete whereas a regular PC user may only take a few months. You can take up to three years to pass the ECDL although most people, with the right commitment, can comfortably complete it within a year. 

The beauty of the ECDL is that you can learn at your own pace. A convenient training program can be arranged to fit a time schedule that suits you.
